Since always, I was passionate about photography due to my father so at the beginning of the school year, when the options for our final work were given, I wanted to try something new, this is why i wanted to challenge myself and try something new, so I decided to go with videography. Every time I was helping my father during his work I was fascinated, I was looking at him at analyzing his movements and techniques, until two years ago, in 2016 when he gave me his old digital camera (a Nikon D3) and started to teach me how to use it and the bases of photography. I have always liked the videos on the Internet, but i was often looking up the youtubers, as we call them now, and I was even imagining doing a career on youtube. Before taking media I didn't have any idea about what video making really was.

Before recording A day in the life, I have only used the stabilizer a few times for other video projects and never really knew about the camera movements. Speaking of the editing software, our teacher told us about Da Vinci Resolve from my teacher and my colleague and I started using it and enjoyed using it more and more due to its simplicity. Therefore, we learnt how to use it out of school by watching tutorials on YouTube. Before started editing we only edited one video in the program, so we also had to learn while editing the final work. Also, I have learnt how to better manage our time while also respecting the actors' personal timetable, the locations and also other exterior factors that could not be controlled, such as light, weather, people nearby, etc... while planning video shootings. But, most importantly, because the camera had only one battery, how to manage my camera battery by turning the camera on only when recording. Because we had to work with several characters, we had to plan the video shootings several times, because not all the characters could come at the same time.
