Character

While thinking about the story we wanted to make, I thought about the film being about madness since it is a topic that allows us to talk about pretty much anything. But I always wanted to show a part of reality and express a message through my productions, this is why after not finding any ideas even after thinking for a long time, I realized that the answer was right near me: The madness of creativity.

Inspired by famous artists such as Van Gogh, Francis Bacon, Hirohiko Araki, Inio Asano, Jack Stauber, and other various artists that use crazy concepts and talk about this thematic of madness in a way or another, I have realized that the character should be an artist, A tormented artist. But as drawing takes a lot of time and cannot be easily done and cannot explicitly reflect such as madness and the feeling of the artist, I understood that my character should be using words, therefore a poet (which also throws back to the AS preliminary work).

As the elements that make the character were slowly coming up together, I started to see the character and decided to really push his madness to an extreme which blends with despair.

Long story short, the character is more about the psychological profile rather than the physical appearance, since most of the action takes place in his head.
