For the casting, the choice of the actors wasn't a difficult task since we decided to chose the actors based on their real life main character trait, but aside this, obviously their acting skills and their physiques and how it would match with their character.
The budget directly goes with the props as we already had all the equipment (camera, microphone, laptop, clothes), the costumes were thought to be as representative of the feeling they represent so for Joy it would be colorful and casual, Anger would be red with an American Football sweatshirt as the classical "American bully", Sadness would be "the emo" of the group, all in black and for Friendship, in white symbolizing the fluidity of the character being a social butterfly.
Since the actors were chosen based on their everyday life main attribute, it wasn't a very difficult task to adapt their clothing style to the characters, the only instructions given were "come as you are but still matching the character" (obviously, a description of their character were given to them).
