Actor

Since it is a short film, we did not want to overcomplicate ourselves with multiple characters, this is why we chose to make the story revolve around one single character, therefore, one single actor.

The actor that we chose is called Luca Petrisor, he is an art student that I helped by modeling for his drawings; this is when I realized he was THE ONE :

I have been looking for actors from the very moment when the idea of the short film bloomed in my head, I even had a list of people in my head sorted from the most to least appropriate. But none boys nor girls I could think of was entirely suiting the criteria we needed and that I had in mind.

As he asked me to help him with his art project, I then realized that it is his profile I was looking for: He naturally had the clothing style for the costume, he is a natural-born artist who is passionate about it and that would truly understand the message that this work transmits; therefore, can totally impersonate the character to its fullest.

In the beginning, I was thinking of having a teenage actress, in order to break the codes of the poet, who is usually seen as an old/middle-aged male, but nobody that I knew was fitting the criteria as well as Luca did.
