Queen II

Being a big fan of the world widely known rock band Queen, after watching the biopic about their lead singer Freddie Mercury nine times; the idea and challenge to reproduce their Queen II album cover using only my phone (Huawei P20 Lite), lightroom and photoshop, and as a model, only me.

To somehow reproduce the light coming from abouve, as it can be seen in the picture, i took out two light bulbs over three in the bathroom, and placed the phone where the comb is so I can pose, use my both hands and have a steady camera.

The attempts were numerous to obtain the most satisfactory result.

Lightroom has been mainly used : the brightness, contrast, shadows, whites, blacks, saturation and highlights and apply more grain.

Photoshop was used just to correct the light reflections on the background, the hair and the ears an to apply all the faces into one picture.
